Round Rock and Cedar Park continued to impress in Week 4 of the Central Texas high school football season. The Dragons defeated Vandedgrift 41-38 in a shootout between two of the top programs in the area, while the Timberwolves moved to 4-0 on the season with a 51-0 thrashing of New Braunfels.
Lake Travis suffered its first loss of the season when it fell to San Antonio Cornerstone Christian 48-35. With all three Class 6A districts beginning, most area programs are in district play this week, which includes an important District 13-5A Division I matchup of Anderson traveling to face Boerne Champion.
