WARANGAL: Lenkalapalli sarpanch Kasturi Vijayalakshmi and her husband, Kasturi Ravinder, died after sustaining injuries in a road accident near Itikalapalli on September 16.
Vijayalakshmi suffered severe injuries and was shifted to a hospital for treatment. She died on September 17 after her condition deteriorated.
Ravinder, who was also critically injured in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at a hospital on Tuesday morning.
The deaths of the couple in the same accident cast a pall of gloom over Lenkalapalli village in Nallabelly mandal. Several villagers visited the bereaved family and conveyed their condolences.
