On September 23rd, Saudi Arabia comes together to celebrate its National Day, marking the anniversary of the Kingdom’s unification in 1932. This year, the occasion takes on an even bigger calendar presence as the Kingdom celebrates its 96th National Day, with events spanning foreworks, air shows, cultural performances, heritage experiences and special offers across the country.

Fireworks will light up the skies across nine cities in Saudi Arabia on the 23rd of September, making them one of the evening’s major celebrations. The programme also includes air, navel and ground displays taking place across the kingdom. On September 23, KAFD will light up at 9 PM fireworks over Riyadh.

Spend National Day in the AlUla cultural land
For a more immersive celebration, AlUla brings together Saudi heritage, contemporary culture and the landscape of the Kingdom. The official programme runs from the 23rd and 24th of September, with activities taking place throughout Old Town, AlJadidah Arts District and AlManshiyah Plaza.
At Almanshiyah Plaza, visitors can enjoy Saudi Ardha performances and a farmer’s market.
