Oasis recently sold out every show on their upcoming 42-date Live ’27 tour, with more than two million tickets being snapped up, but there may be another chance to get your hands on them
If you didn’t get your hands on Oasis Live ’27 tickets, fear not, there may be another chance. Over 11 million fans signed up to be in with the chance of securing a code to try and get tickets for the upcoming tour.
However, across the 42 dates, the band only released just over two million tickets before the entire tour sold out on Sunday night. Fans who had been hoping to snap up tickets had to register their email address and answer the question, “Which Oasis album was released in 1995?” The band used the platform Openstage to give genuine fans a chance, beating ticket touts who often resell tickets for a considerable amount.
But while some fans hailed this as the masterplan, others may have looked back in anger if it hadn’t been successful. But fear not, there is still a chance to snap up tickets for the mammoth tour.
As with the mammoth Live ’25 tour, Oasis have partnered with verified reselling platform, Twickets, as well as verified Ticketmaster resale, to ensure that fans have the chance to see them on stage.
Both platforms guarantee that tickets will not be sold for more than face value, meaning that ticket touts cannot profit by reselling tickets for more than they originally sold for.
Posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, Twickets said: “Congratulations to those who managed to get tickets for Oasis’ shows in 2027. We’re pleased to say that we’re the official resale partner for this tour.
“Resale tickets will not be available until nearer the events and will only be available at the price originally paid. In the meantime you can set an alert for all shows on our website/app to notify you for when tickets become available.”
Meanwhile, Ticketmaster states on its Frequently Asked Questions section that resale tickets will “only be available closer to the tour.” However, while some fans are expecting more dates to be announced, this won’t be the case.
“There were just over two million tickets for sale with over 11 million people registering,” a source told The Sun. The source went on to add: “They have a 11-night residency at the Etihad Stadium but they could have sold it out 179 times. Noel and Liam were blown away by the reception from their fans and wish they could have added more shows – but 42 concerts is their lot.”
Next year, the Manchester band will perform five shows in Scotland, before heading to their beloved Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium. While some may deem that run alone to be impressive, they’ve broken a new record for Knebworth.
The mighty band will top the bill for six nights, beating the record of three, which was previously held by Robbie Williams. Last week, due to unprecedented demand, the band added a string of extra dates across the tour.
They also added additional shows in Rome and Munich. They will take to the stage at Munich’s Allianz Arena on July 6 and at Rome’s Olympic Stadium on July 26. They’re also now performing in Paris on July 20 and 23, due to planned railway engineering works close to the Stade de France on July 24.
Liam, however, has hinted that the band could tour again. He said: “Listen if all goes well with the tour I guess nxt step is to have a chat about new music can’t see us touring again unless we have new music [sic].”
