Stacey Solomon has unveiled her new orange bathroom – but admitted that the colour might not be to everyone’s taste.
The Sort Your Life Out star, 37, chose a vibrant retro theme for her sons’ upstairs bathroom in her family’s new £2million Essex mansion. After moving in, Stacey decided to deep-clean and upcycle the original tangerine-orange toilet, sink, and bathtub. And to match the vintage suite, the mother-of-six added bold orange-and-white vertical stripes to the walls, offset by brushed-bronze taps and modern shower fixtures.
She finished the bathroom with an orange-and-white striped bath mat that playfully reads “Get Naked”. Stacey, who has five biological children and one stepson, shared the big reveal on her Instagram account, admitting that some people might “hate” the design.

“The Orange Bathroom,” she wrote. “I’m ready for people to hate this,” she added alongside a laughing emoji. “But honestly I love it so so much.”
Sharing further details in her post, which included a photo of the original room before she renovated it, Stacey wrote: “As soon as I saw this tangerine bath set I fell in love with it. I just couldn’t throw it away it was so pretty.
“I have plenty of rooms to be neutral in but this is the boys upstairs bathroom & they LOVE this colour so I got to have so much fun in here bringing colour back to life. This room now just makes me happy as soon as I open the door. It’s so bright and cheerful.”
She added: “We have a few snagging bits to do & I think I need to add some more bits and bobs but here she is! One room done. Wahoo.”
In the comment section, many fans said they loved the design, even though Stacey feared most people wouldn’t like it. One said: “To be honest it’s nice to see something with a bit of bloody personality as opposed to neutrals & greys that have engulfed the past decade!”

Stacey has decided to keep the exterior and exact location of the new home private due to security concerns experienced at the family’s previous home, Pickle Cottage.
