Terribly Tiny Tales has been an enjoying a wave of success with their previously two instalments in association with Netflix, Greater Kalesh (2025) and Musafir Cafe (2026), being hits. Once again, they will return to enrich our Diwali experience with a new release, Dilwali Diwali, where the festive family reunion will be explored along with the messy dynamics of intergenerational relationships tagging along.

Years of working abroad has bundled up success for Ansh Sikka, enabling him to provide a better life for his parents back home. When he returns home for Diwali, however, he soon discovers that a better life doesn’t necessarily translate to a fresh start.

As the family unites for this festive occasion, their contradicting views on life will lead to a series of fun banters and relatability for the viewers. Dilwali Diwali is written by Ritu Mago and directed by Ritesh Menon. Also starring in this film are Neelu Kohli and Aurra Bhatnagar.

Mihir Ahuja, who stars in this movie, talked about his character, Ansh Sikka. He said, “Ansh’s journey in Dilwali Diwali comes from a place of love. I think that’s what makes the story so relatable.”

He continued to convey the emotions behind the core of the story. “We all want to do the best for our families, but sometimes, in trying to give them more, we forget to understand what truly makes them happy. TTT has beautifully captured these nuances with humour and heart, and I’m excited for audiences to experience the film on Netflix this Diwali and see a little bit of their own families in the Sikkas.”

Manoj Pahwa, who plays the role of Ansh’s father, said, “For a parent, home is never just about the walls, the furniture, or the address. It’s about the memories you’ve built, the people you’ve shared your life with, and the little things that make a place your own.”

He also talked about the contrasting ideologies held for a good life between children and their parents and how the movie focuses on this very dynamic. He continued, “ Children may have a different idea of what makes a good life, but the love behind both perspectives is the same. In Dilwali Diwali, TTT and Netflix bring this familiar generational dynamic to life in a way that is deeply heartfelt. I hope audiences enjoy watching this story with their families on Netflix this Diwali and find their own meaning of home in it.”
