In a conversation with Page Six, Dr. Samuel Golpanian noted that subtle changes around Jennifer Lawrence’s eyes and eyebrows give her a “brighter, more youthful appearance.” He noted that at first he thought she was aging gracefully and may not have had work done. He explained that since he is not her doctor, he can only speculate based on what he saw in the pictures.
The surgeon explained that when comparing older photos of Lawrence to more recent images, he noticed a difference in the appearance of her upper eyelids. Dr. Samuel Golpanian suggested that Jennifer Lawrence might have undergone surgery and said:
“When I look at some of her earlier pictures, particularly around her eyes, there appears to be some drooping of the skin near the outer corners of her eyebrows. In the more recent photos, her eyes look noticeably more open and refreshed. You can see more of her upper eyelids, especially toward the outer corners, which gives her a brighter, more youthful appearance.”
Dr. Samuel Golpanian added that Jennifer Lawrence may have undergone “an upper blepharoplasty.” He explained that it is a procedure “which removes excess skin from the upper eyelids. But oftentimes, that procedure is performed together with a brow lift.” He added that he won’t completely rule out the actress having undergone the brow lift, as there were indications she might have had it done. He was quoted as saying:
“In her case, I wouldn’t rule out a lateral brow lift, which raises the outer portion of the eyebrows and helps lift the skin that’s hanging over the eyes. The two procedures complement each other, so it’s certainly possible she had both.”
As for whether Jennifer Lawrence may have undergone any additional cosmetic enhancements, Dr. Samuel Golpanian pointed to changes in the appearance of her cheeks. He said that whether or not the actress underwent any surgical procedure, her appearance looked natural. He asserted that her cheeks looked fuller in her previous pictures. However, that could be the result of weight loss, potentially including weight loss associated with GLP-1 medications, or it could be something like buccal fat removal.

He also reflected on how much the procedures could have cost and said the two would typically cost about USD 15,000, including surgeon and facility fees, but could climb to USD 30,000 or more. On the other hand, Dr. Rozbeh Torabi had different views. He said:
“I would say [she possibly had a brow lift], but subtle changes can also be achieved with Botox and a small amount of filler and some lasers. Upper eyelids do not look done because there is a small amount of excess skin.”
Dr. Sean McNally said the two procedures were possible; he admitted the actress looked great and that if she had anything else done, it was extremely well done, with no visible evidence of any cosmetic procedures. While none of the three doctors have treated Jennifer Lawrence, their observation comes just days after she candidly opened up about her views on plastic surgery.
