Hele Flanagan has told fans that she could be arrested after she was left furious following a clash with a parking attendant that saw her slapped with a ticket
Helen Flanagan has said that she could be arrested after a clash with a parking warden. This came after she was left fuming when given a parking ticket.
Helen, 36, shared in a social media video that a simple mistake led to the ticket: “I’ve got a courtesy car and I just parked in Manchester. I paid for my parking but because it’s not my car I put O instead of zero.
“I could see one of the traffic wardens trying to put a ticket on my car and I said, ‘no, I’ve paid for my ticket’. I am due my period so hell hath no fury if you get my wrath.”

Off screen, one of her children could be heard saying they didn’t “want to go back” to the car. The Corrie star explained that her children “think I’m going to get arrested” for her reaction to the ticket. “I might, actually,” she admitted. “I was like, ‘you are the most horrible man I’ve ever met. Karma for you!”
Mum of three Helen shares her children with ex Scott Sinclair. The pair have two daughters, Matilda, 11, and Delilah, eight, as well as a son, Charlie, five.
Charlie was recently hospitalised. The little boy was pictured with an oxygen mask on his face, giving the camera a thumbs up in one of Scott’s instagram pictures. He captioned the image with: “My little soldier.” He did not share what made Charlie need hospital care.
Helen, who last appeared on the cobbles in 2018, was engaged to Scott but they called it all off in October 2022, more than 13 years after they first got together.
Just weeks ago, Helen took to social media to talk about the “mum guilt” she feels as she continues to navigate coparenting alongside her busy showbiz career.
She wrote: “Tired Mum. Overstimulated. Sick of the arguing. No words for how much I love them. Due my period. Feel like I’ve been the Wicked Witch of the West. Mum guilt. Love them so much. Not been able to get back to any of work email or [Whatsapps] or my friends,” she added, signing off with a melting face emoji.
The TV star revealed recently that she was hoping that her next relationship would be with the man who would go on to become her husband.
Speaking candidly on Lewis Nicholls’ Life Stories podcast, she added: “I think it will be the real thing. I will choose to protect it and I will keep that private. I will probably say who that person is, but I will want to protect it. I will want to keep it private.”
She continued: “I’ll want to keep it really special, because I kind of feel like everybody’s always got something to say. My next relationship I have I think will be my husband, because I won’t be wasting my time, really. I will want to choose to protect it, definitely.”
