History keeps repeating itself in South Orange, N.J.

A mostly new roster, and low expectations.

A year ago, Seton Hall was picked to finish dead last in the Big East by the league’s coaches and came in fourth. This year, they were selected ninth again.

“Every year, my teams get picked like that, and sometimes we prove people wrong, sometimes we don’t,” coach Shaheen Holloway recently said. “All I care about is guys going out, giving their best, playing together.”
