Tusshar Kapoor Receives Extortion Threat From Caller Posing As Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Member

Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor has reportedly received an extortion call from a person claiming to be Harry Boxer, an alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The caller purposely demanded Rs 5 crore from the actor, following which he approached the Mumbai Police. However, a preliminary voice analysis has raised doubts about the caller’s identity, with investigators suspecting that someone may have used the gang’s name to issue a hoax threat.

According to police sources, the Crime Branch’s technical team analysed the audio recording of the threatening call and compared the voice with an official sample of Harry Boxer. Senior police officials reportedly found a mismatch between the two voices, leading investigators to suspect that the caller may have been impersonating the alleged gang member. The police are now attempting to trace the person behind the call.

The incident comes days after an attack on actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai’s Juhu area. On October 18, unidentified assailants allegedly opened fire at Shroff’s vehicle, leaving the actor unharmed. His driver and an autorickshaw driver sustained injuries. A social media post attributed to alleged Lawrence Bishnoi gang operative Anil Pandit claimed responsibility for the attack. The post alleged that Shroff had been targeted because of his association with Salman Khan and for allegedly ignoring warnings.

Mumbai Police have since arrested several people in connection with the firing. The investigation into the alleged gang connection is ongoing.
