Kunchacko Boban has plenty to look forward to in the coming months, with the actor adding another interesting project to his already busy lineup. On the occasion of his birthday on Monday, the makers announced his next film, which will be directed by debutant George Jacob. The yet-to-be-titled project will be written by Vivek Achu and Aparna Daas, bringing together a new directorial voice and a familiar production partnership.

The film will be produced by Ashiq Usman, marking his fifth collaboration with Kunchacko Boban. The duo have previously worked together on Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum, Varnyathil Aashanka, Allu Ramendran and Anjaam Pathiraa. Their association has seen them explore different genres, from comedy and crime thrillers to more unconventional narratives. The announcement of their latest project suggests that the actor and producer are keen to continue their successful working relationship.

While details about the film’s storyline, cast and production schedule remain under wraps, the birthday announcement has already added to the anticipation surrounding Kunchacko’s upcoming ventures.

Kunchacko Boban Has Two November Releases Lined Up

Interestingly, the actor’s birthday announcements also brought news about the theatrical release of another of his upcoming films, Hail Mary. Directed by debutant Vishnu Revikumar, the film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on November 26. The project has an interesting creative team, with Dr Neeraj Rajan and Martin Prakkat jointly handling the screenplay, based on a story by GR Indugopan.

Hail Mary also brings together a sizeable ensemble cast. Alongside Kunchacko Boban, the film features Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anu Sithara, Jagadish, Vinay Forrt, Suhasini Maniratnam, Hakim Shah and Kavya Ramachandran. With an experienced group of performers coming together under a debutant filmmaker, the project is another notable addition to the actor’s filmography.

However, Hail Mary will not be Kunchacko’s first theatrical outing in November. He is also part of Amal Neerad’s Bachelor Party D’eux, which is slated for release on November 19, exactly a week before the Vishnu Revikumar directorial. The film is a follow-up to Amal Neerad’s 2012 action thriller Bachelor Party and features a multi-starrer lineup comprising Naslen, Tovino Thomas, Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Nadiya Moidu, Jyothirmayee and Rajisha Vijayan, alongside Kunchacko.

The back-to-back release schedule makes November an especially busy month for the actor. It also offers audiences an opportunity to see him in two different cinematic outings within a span of seven days. With Amal Neerad at the helm of one project and a debutant director steering the other, the two films bring distinctly different filmmaking sensibilities to the table.

From Nere Chovva To 40 Days Of House Party: What’s Next?

Beyond his November releases, Kunchacko Boban has several other projects in various stages of development. He will be seen sharing screen space with Manju Warrier in Nere Chovva, another film that has generated interest among Malayalam cinema followers. The actor is also associated with Shifina Babin Pakker’s 40 Days of House Party, further expanding his upcoming slate.

Meanwhile, producer Ashiq Usman has an equally busy lineup. Apart from his latest collaboration with Kunchacko, he is backing Athimanoharam, Mohanlal’s upcoming Christmas release directed by Jude Anthany Joseph. The project marks another collaboration between the filmmaker and the superstar.

Ashiq Usman is also producing Torpedo, which features an ensemble cast led by Naslen, Fahadh Faasil, Arjun Das and Ganapathi. With several prominent Malayalam actors and filmmakers associated with his upcoming productions, the producer has a packed slate of his own.

For Kunchacko Boban, the coming months promise a steady stream of theatrical outings, interesting collaborations and opportunities to explore different roles. With two November releases, a reunion with Ashiq Usman and several other projects in the pipeline, the actor appears set for a particularly eventful phase in his career.
