Talking about a recent film he watched and loved, Manoj said, “I loved Obsession. I went there without any expectation. We went to watch it only for my daughter. But I was completely blown away by the film. I am still not over that film, in terms of its crafting, the performances of the lead actors and the camera work. I will be very surprised if the actress of Obsession (Inde Navarrette) doesn’t win an Oscar.”
When asked which film someone should watch to understand him better as a person, Manoj chose Governor. Explaining his choice, he said, “Mostly, I like to keep it very low about myself, about my life, and believe in doing my job, and then get out. So, I think that’s the character that I played in Governor.”
Meanwhile, Manoj Bajpayee’s film Last Man in Tower is set to premiere on ZEE5, months after its theatrical release.
