Arsenal vs Hull City
In a 15:00 kick-off at the Emirates, Arsenal hosts Hull City. Speaking to the press ahead of the Hull City visit, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was asked about Bukayo Saka’s injury, and said: “We’re talking about obviously weeks, let’s say after the international break. He’s going to start hitting the pitch and start to have more activity and see how he feels, but unfortunately he’s going to be out for a while.”
When asked whether he could be fit for the Manchester City game in three weeks, Arteta said: “I don’t want to put these guys under too much pressure. They are doing their best to get back fit. Bukayo is desperate to get back with the team, but it’s still quite early.”
Ezri Konsa was forced off against Slavia Praha with a knee injury in midweek, and when asked about that knock, Arteta had a positive update: “He’s fine – he was feeling much better today. We took him out on Wednesday for a precaution, but yesterday and today he’s been feeling good.”
Hull City boss Sergej Jakirovic also spoke to the press ahead of the visit to North London, where he spoke about his squad and expectations:

“I expect more from our senior players, to make a difference. You see a lack of game play and they need time. We need match fitness and game experiences and this is what we will be doing in the future with the younger players.”
Matt Crooks will be serving a one-match Premier League suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign against Ipswich.
Goalkeeper Jack Butland is getting closer to a return after returning to training and playing for the under-21s.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City
At the City Ground, in the 17:30 kick-off, Nottingham Forest hosts Manchester City. Forest manager Oliver Glasner met with members of the press, where he confirmed some players are suffering from “minor issues”, including sickness and “niggles”, but there are no new injury concerns for his squad.
Glasner did confirm striker Igor Jesus had “no reaction” to training the full week, and said he “looks good” for the weekend.
Glasner also confirmed Nicolo Savona “is on track and looks like he will get some minutes in the friendly in the international break” before returning to the Forest squad. It was also revealed that Nicolas Dominguez has suffered a setback in training and “will be out for up to eight weeks.”
Enzo Maresca also spoke to the press, confirming Nico O’Reilly “Isn’t 100% at the minute.” Explaining that he understood why the players weren’t picked for England, Maresca said: “We need to keep him fit now because we know how good he is for us. There’s no doubt he will be back with the international team in the future, but a little break is what he needs so he is 100% when we return.”

The Manchester City manager also confirmed Phil Foden is “doing well” for Manchester City, with it being Maresca’s “duty” to “slowly” build him back to his best.
Gianluigi Donnarumma has recently made some costly errors, but Maresca has said the Italian “recognises that he has made some mistakes, but at the same time recognises that he has made some great saves” this season. Maresca added: “It is quite easy with him because he recognises any mistake immediately. I’ve spoken to him about it, but I didn’t feel the need to be so deep with him because he already knows and recognises that he has made some mistakes.”
Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-3 Manchester City
