Texas A&M football could give its season quite a boost with a road win Saturday.
An Aggies team that’s touched the top 10 in national rankings is just 4-4 as November begins. A&M has been hammered with injuries: receiver/returner Terry Bussey is out for the season, star wideout Mario Craver has battled a series of ailments and wideout Ashton Bethel-Roman plus running back KJ Edwards were listed as questionable this week.

Needless to say: A win over No. 21 South Carolina in Columbia would be a pick-me-up for Mike Elko’s squad, which has lost four of its five SEC games. The Gamecocks have won three straight conference games after losing their first three.
Since Elko took over in College Station, A&M has split its recent meetings with South Carolina (5-3, 3-3). In 2024, the Aggies lost their road match 44-20 but they got revenge last year in the 31-30 win at Kyle Field.
