Seinfeld star Patrick Warburton has shared the shocking news his sound found out he had a brain tumour after breaking his leg in two places. Sharing an image of his son Talon, 34, in a hospital bed showing his huge gruesome head scar, Patrick described being “a mess” after his Talon’s diagnosis.
The star, who is best known for playing the role of David Puddy in the US sitcom and being the voice of Family Guy’s Jo, wrote: “My dear son Talon.
“This all began October first with a grand mal seizure- this beautiful beast of a man broke his leg in two places. A day later after the MRI- the brain tumour diagnosis came in.”

And what his son immediately said, filled his father with pride. Patrick went on: “His first words were “ mom, are you scared?” He’s full warrior.
“While his father was a mess, weeping more times in those first few weeks-mostly not in his presence mind you- he was strong, not without vulnerability, but courageous. I gained strength from him.”
The actor concluded: “From the bottom of my heart- Thank you Dr Berger, UCSF and all the wonderful people there. Thank you dear lord above. And thank all of you for your prayers and good vibes. Feeling such love and gratitude.”
When one follower in the comments section said Patrick’s son “had an amazing life ahead of him,” the star quickly corrected them. “Has*,” he replied.
Other followers were quick to send messages of support. One wrote: “Dude !! im soooo sorry about this. Hope and pray for all of you and he heals soon and perfectly.”
Another added: “We are with you talon!!! Pedro has your back!!”
Last year, Patrick spoke to the Mirror about his fundraising efforts. He smashed his own fundraising records as he held his 15th annual celebrity golf competition in aid of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
His efforts dwarfed the initial $5million (£3.9million) target he had set. It was the 15th year Patrick had held the golf event to raise vital funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The four-day event, held in the Coachella Valley desert, raised almost $6.5million (£5million) in vital funds for the organisation. It was supported by an influx of famous faces, including Alice Cooper and Nashville star Charles Esten.
The milestone made his tournament the biggest charity golf events in the United States, ensuring families at St. Jude don’t have to pay for treatment, travel, housing, or food while their children receive life-saving care.
