Michigan State football will have quarterback Alessio Milivojevic available to play when its faces Michigan in the battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy on Saturday, Nov. 7 (7:30 p.m., Peacock).
Milivojevic is 121-for-186 (65%) passing for 1,263 yards with seven touchdowns and three interceptions in his seven games. The third-year sophomore had his 11-start streak snapped in MSU’s loss at UCLA on Oct. 24 in Pasadena, California.

The Spartans, who are again without backup QB Cam Fancher, started true freshman Kayd Coffman in that game and turned to No. 4 quarterback Leo Hannan in the third quarter of the 28-10 loss.
Michigan State’s Alessio Milivojevic breaks a Northwestern tackle attempt on a run during the second quarter on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing.

Also back for MSU will be safety Devin Vaught, who left in the second half of the Spartans‘ loss at UCLA.
The injury list remains long for MSU, however, including its top three running backs in Cam Edwards (season), Jaziun Patterson and Marvis Parrish. The Spartans used kick returner Kenneth Williams against the Bruins after Parrish got hurt on the third play of the game.
