Aamir Khan and his wife, Gauri Spratt, are reportedly preparing to move into a new rented apartment in Mumbai. The couple currently resides in a rented property in the city’s Pali Hill area, where they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on July 5, 2026. According to reports, they are exploring other residential options in a Mumbai suburb and may relocate by the end of 2026 or early 2027.
The reported decision comes after the building where Aamir has rented four apartments entered into a redevelopment agreement. With the project set to move forward, the actor and his wife are said to be searching for another home. Reports further suggest that their next residence is currently being renovated and will be customised according to their requirements.
For Aamir, this is not the first time he has had to move homes because of redevelopment. Around 18 months ago, the actor moved out of his permanent residence in Union Park as the property became part of a redevelopment project. His home is located in the Bella Vista and Marina Apartments complex, which is undergoing redevelopment.
The project is expected to take several years to complete, with the actor’s new residence reportedly scheduled to be ready around 2030. Until then, Aamir is likely to continue staying in rented accommodation.

There are also reports that the actor is planning a larger family home, described as a ‘sky villa’. He is reportedly considering additional apartments in the redevelopment project to accommodate his extended family. However, these details about his future residential plans have not been officially confirmed by Aamir Khan.
Aamir introduced Gauri publicly on his 60th birthday in March 2025, revealing their 25-year-long association. The couple married in an intimate ceremony on July 5, 2026. Neither has commented on their reported move.
