A while back, Aasif Khan’s wife, Zeba, took to his Instagram handle to share a note. In the now-viral note, Zeba slammed the users who are trying to spread a fake narrative about Aasif and Love Gill’s growing bond. While Zeba has not mentioned Love Gill’s name, netizens quickly connected the dots. In the note, Zeba also opened up about their relationship and marriage. She shared that a different narrative has been set up about her husband. She wrote:
“As Aasif’s wife, I think it is important to say this once, from my heart and with complete clarity. I’m talking specifically about the recent conversations surrounding a few moments from the show and the questions being raised about our marriage because of it.”
Zeba mentioned that the audience must refer to the 24*7 live feed and not the few clips that are doing the rounds on social media. She highlighted that Aasif often talks about her, their life, and their relationship on the show. She added that their relationship is secure and their understanding is strong. She wrote:
“You’ll see so much more of the husband I know than what a few seconds can ever capture. Our relationship is secure, our understanding is strong, and there is nothing here to explain or justify.”
Further, in the note, Zeba mentioned that each one of the contestants inside is playing their own game. She then requested people not to judge someone’s character or marriage, as Bigg Boss 20 is just a game. She also requested them to follow Aasif’s journey and support him for who he truly is.

Aasif Khan was born on March 13, 1991, in Nimbahera, Rajasthan. He grew up in a middle-class family in the Chittorgarh district before eventually pursuing acting. His late father, Ayyub Khan, worked at JK Cement, while his mother, Firdous Khan, is a homemaker. Currently, Aasif is gaining fame for his journey in the entertainment industry and his work in several OTT projects. He moved to Mumbai and took up different jobs to support himself, including working as a waiter in a hotel kitchen.
During a podcast with ABP Uncut, Aasif revealed that he was washing the dishes at Taj Hotel when Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan got married. He recalled the moment and shared that he was denied permission to take photos with the stars. Later, he returned to Rajasthan and took training in theatre in Jaipur before coming back to Mumbai to pursue acting more seriously.
Aasif initially worked as a casting assistant and junior artist. His early credits included Ready and Agneepath, followed by films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and India’s Most Wanted. However, it was his OTT career that brought him wider recognition. He starred in web series, including Mirzapur, Jamtara, and Paatal Lok.
Aasif’s role as ‘Ganesh’ a.k.a. ‘Damaad Ji’ in Panchayat became immensely popular, with the line “Gajab beizzati hai yaar” turning into a widely shared meme. Currently, he is inside the Bigg Boss 20 house. Before entering the Bigg Boss 20 house, the actor shared that he had not explored TV that much and thus wanted to start with Bigg Boss 20. Aasif has been married to Zeba since 2024.
