Mahabubabad:The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted simultaneous searches at the office and residence of Mahabubabad district civil supplies manager Vasamsetti Narasimha Rao on Friday following allegations that he had amassed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
A team led by Khammam ACB DSP Y. Ramesh searched the civil supplies department office at the Mahabubabad district collectorate. Officials examined files in the manager’s cabin and other office records.
Another ACB team reportedly searched Narasimha Rao’s residence in Khammam.
Details of any documents or property-related records seized during the searches were not immediately available. It was also unclear whether the searches had yielded evidence supporting the allegations.
The ACB had not released an official statement detailing the searches at the time of reporting.
