Adilabad: In a tragic incident, a couple died within a day, leaving their 10-year-old son inconsolable.
According to reports, Naveen Kumar, 33, and his wife Latha, 31, had been married for several years. Naveen Kumar was working as a junior assistant at the Adilabad Excise Office. He had been unwell for the past few days and was staying at home.
Latha had recently been diagnosed with jaundice. On Friday, she was returning home after receiving treatment in Jagtial when she died on the way.
Her final rites were performed on Saturday afternoon. A few hours later, at around 8.30 pm, Naveen Kumar also died.
The sudden deaths of the couple have left their 10-year-old son devastated. His cries during the final rites have deeply moved the people.
