Hyderabad: A local court in Nampally issued summons to the popular film actor Allu Arjun asking him to personally appear before it on Monday in connection with a stampede incident that took place in Sandhya 70 MM theatre in Chikkadpally in December 2024.
Arjun is A11 in this case. A woman Revathi died in the stampede that happened during the premiere of the latest film ‘Pushpa-2’. Her son Sritej escaped with serious injuries. She along with her husband and two children came to Sandhya theatre to watch ‘Pushpa-2’ premier show.
On January 5, 2025, Arjun appeared before the Chikkadpally police in the same case. As part of the bail granted to him, the actor appeared before the investigating officer (IO) at the Chikkadpally police station.
