The Aestura Atobarrier365 Cream has been a firm favourite of mine for months and it’s 25% off for Amazon Prime Day

As a beauty writer, I very fortunately get to try dozens of skincare products every year, so to actually finish a product is one thing – but to repurchase it is the highest of accolades. Just this week I squeezed out the very last drop of my Aestura Atobarrier365 Cream, and Amazon Prime Day just gave me the perfect excuse to rebuy it.

I’ve been using the Olivia Attwood-approved item for months and was genuinely gutted to be coming to the end of it. When I made my Prime Day predictions, K-beauty was one of the categories I expected to see discounted, so when I spotted this Korean skincare favourite had been reduced by 25% in the Amazon Prime Day sale, I immediately added it to my basket.

Korean skincare – often referred to as K-beauty – has been dominating beauty trends over the past year. It comes as many skincare users are seeking out barrier-repair products following years of over-using actives, and Korean brands really have been leading the charge in this particular beauty category.

Usually £26, the Aestura Atobarrier365 Cream has been reduced to £19.50, saving £6.50 on the RRP. The formula has already built an impressive reputation having sold more than two million units between 2018 and 2023, with a product reportedly being purchased every 20 seconds.

Aestura hit UK shelves in September 2025, and has quickly won over beauty insiders and celebrities alike, with TV star Olivia Attwood among its fans. Sharing a video on Instagram over the weekend, the former Love Islander hailed it as a ‘key product to keep my skin hydrated all summer long’.

This intense moisturizing cream offers 120 hours of hydration with a concentrated blend of long-chain and high-density ceramides that help repair your compromised skin barrier.

In a video applying the moisturiser, she went on to say: “One product I’ve been loyal to and is not going anywhere is the Aestura Atobarrier365 Cream. I’ve had it in my vlogs for so long and there is a reason. If you struggle with dry skin like mine or irritation or sensitivity, this cream is perfect for you.”

The thing that makes it so unique is that it features tiny, visible encapsulated ceramide beads that burst on contact with the skin, offering an 80% higher absorption rate than that of regular ceramides. The ceramides are said to ‘fill the gaps’ in our skin barrier, which helps lock in moisture and keep skin protected.

Best suited for dry and sensitive skin, the brand claims the fragrance-free and colourant-free moisturiser delivers up to 120 hours of hydration. I’ve loved using it in the evenings, using it to seal in all of my other serums and moisture mists. Despite being thick and rich in texture, it still feels lightweight and non-greasy on application, leaving behind a smooth layer that absorbs overnight for a glass skin glow by morning.

While the Aestura cream is my most recently completed cream, it’s surprisingly not the first. Other moisturisers I’ve loved and completed include the Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Acid Cream Moisturizer, which is £33.50 at Space NK for 50ml. Another K-beauty find, it’s formulated with blue hyaluronic acid, which combines double-fermented hyaluronic acid with fucoidan for up to 100 hours of hydration.

I’m also a big advocate of the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré Multi-Purpose Moisturiser 75ml, which is £21.99 at Cult Beauty. It’s the one I always recommend to my friends with very sensitive skin, as it’s so gentle it can even be used on babies. I’ve gone through three tubes of this in the last three years, and it makes for a wonderful makeup primer too.

Back at Amazon though, Aestura reviewers with a range of skin concerns have praised the cream. One said: “Really love this product. I’m a fan of Korean skincare anyway but this has been perfect for nights when I use retinoid as part of my routine. It’s quite thick but I wake up with the happiest, glass skin.”

Another said: “I’m 49 with mature, combination skin, and finding a barrier-repair moisturiser that doesn’t clog my skin can be incredibly difficult. I purposely chose this lotion version over the popular cream, and it is a total game-changer. My skin wakes up incredibly moist, plump, and supple every single morning. If you have combination skin but still need intensive barrier support, buy this lotion.”

“I keep purchasing this product, great for cold winter months,” said a third. “Helps to preserve skin barrier and calms my sensitive rosacea skin.”

That said, it’s not a moisturiser that will suit everyone. Those with very oily skin may find the texture a little rich, particularly during warmer weather. Another reviewer said: “This is the best moisturising cream I’ve ever used. It’s extremely hydrating and ideal for my very sensitive skin prone to dermatitis.

“However, everyone’s skin is different, and this could potentially be too much for someone with very oily skin. It might also be a bit heavy for the summer months. I’d say it’s more of a fall/winter cream.”
