
An intoxicated man had stolen an RTC bus in Anantapur district. Twentyseven-year-old Sivasankar, belonging to Garladinne in Pamidi mandal, is working as a security guard in a quarry. On Friday night, he boarded a train to Kadiri from Anantapur district, carrying his pet dog with him.
Then he went to the bus station and made off with an RTC hired bus. Intoxicated under the influence of liquor, he hit the vehicle to a divider and a few trees, before reaching Thattivaripalle in Madanapalle mandal. He left the vehicle there and reached the Madanapalle bus station.
He told the RTC staff that he had left the vehicle at Thattivaripalle from where they recovered the vehicle.
Later, the RTC staff handed over the bus and Sivasankar to the Kadiri Rural police. Previously, Sivasankar worked as an outsourcing worker in the forest department.
