Ryan Weathers got off to a stormy start Tuesday night at Yankee Stadium.
The Yankees left-hander surrendered back-to-back-to-back home runs with one out in the top of the first inning, digging himself an early hole as the Angels teed off on his fastball.
Mike Trout, Jo Adell and Jorge Soler all crushed no-doubters against Weathers’ four-seam fastball, which registered at 95, 96 and 96 mph on the three home run balls.
Weathers walked the next batter, Vaughn Grissom, before finally getting the last two outs to end the brutal frame.
Trout’s home run was his third in 10 innings against the Yankees this series, after crushing a pair Monday night — matching fellow three-time MVP Aaron Judge.
