Since her grand-scale wedding with actor Naga Chaitanya in December, 2024, Indian actress Sobhita Dhulipala has once again stepped into the spotlight, this time, sharing her opinions dealing with public scrutiny and intense curiosity revolving her personal life.
Speaking to Galatta Plus, Sobhita was asked how she dealt with becoming the subject of public discussion and media attention. Responding to the question, the actress said she understood that people were naturally curious. However, she explained that she never allowed the noise around her personal life to dictate her reality.
Sobhita said, “All of these things have taught me that. Sure, there was some attention but I think people are curious. I was living my life and I am not sure what reaction was expected out of me. I am in a great place in my… I feel surer of who I am with time. I am very comfortable to sit amidst polarising views without being touched by it.”
She further shared that growing older has helped her become more confident and secure about her identity. The actress said she now feels comfortable existing amid different opinions and viewpoints without letting them affect her emotionally.
The actress also suggested that her experiences have taught her the importance of staying centred regardless of what people say or think.
The actress shared that she feels there is often a great deal of heat surrounding public discussions, especially when they involve celebrities. However, she believes people need to remember that such moments are temporary and constantly changing.
Her comments showed a larger lesson about emotional resilience. Rather than reacting to every rumour or criticism, Sobhita suggested that staying grounded and maintaining a sense of self is far more important.
