‘Ap Galat Train Mein Chadh Gaye Hai..’ Hansika Motwani Breaks Silence On Divorce And Ending Marriage

Hansika Motwani has been through a lot in the past few years. From being called a home-wrecker to her marriage ending in 1.7 years, it was definitely too much for her to handle. But Hansika kept her calm and maintained a dignified silence around the same. Recently, she appeared on a podcast and shared her side of the story.

Hansika Motwani opened up about her divorce 

Recently, Hansika Motwani appeared on Hautterfly’s podcast. She shared her life story and her journey. She also talked about her divorce and stated that people wanted clickbait, they got it, they wanted juicy headlines, they got it, but she never intended to clarify anything. She added that she has no regret, as it was better to get off the wrong train than to keep suffering. She added that she has immense support from her family and has no regrets about it. She said:

“People wanted clickbait, they got it. They wanted headlines, they got it. I have never clarified it, nor will I, because it doesn’t matter to me. It’s fine. I have no regrets. It’s better to get off the train if you got onto the wrong train than suffer. I have immense support from my family. I have no regrets. I am very happy where I am.”

Further, Hansika was asked what she meant by marriage, companionship, stability, or growth. She added that she wanted all of them. She added that she already told that if you get on the wrong train, you should get off the train.

“Like I said agar ap galat train mein chadh gaye toh jarruri nai apko suffer khatam krna hai, apko suffer karne ki jarrurat nahi hai, get off on the next station.”

Hansika further revealed that her family supported her through the tough times. She added that she has been through the most difficult times. She added that till now, no one knows what had happened to them. She was quoted as saying:

“Both my mother and my brother were like, ‘If you are not comfortable, don’t go through it.’ And they have seen me in a very dark space—a very dark space. I am a very happy, jolly person. For me to go into a dark space, it was kind of alarming. So they were like, ‘Whatever you decide.’ And honestly, till today, no one knows what happened between the two of us, and it’s the best. I always say that what happens between two people is known only to them. There is nothing that another person can say or comment about.”

As per a recent report in India Today, Hansika had approached the court to file for a divorce by mutual consent. However, she had decided not to make any alimony claims as part of the separation. Hansika was represented by advocate Adnan Shaikh. He claimed that the couple had been living away from each other since 2024. 

Regarding what led to their divorce, it is stated that the two realised their temperaments, opinions and lifestyles were significantly different. This would often lead to frequent disagreements between them. The report further stated that the couple’s parents, relatives, and friends attempted to help them reconcile, but their efforts to mend the relationship failed. The two have been living apart since July 2, 2024. They both have submitted their affidavits confirming that they don’t have any claims or demands against each other.
