VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has directed the Registrar (Judicial) to provide documents and evidence to the appellants in a case concerning alleged irregularities in the evaluation of answer scripts of the Group-1 Mains examinations. The court posted the matter for further hearing on September 24.
A division bench comprising Justice D. Ramesh and Justice Avadhanam Hariharanadha Sharma heard the matter on Monday and issued directions to the registry.
Senior counsel for the appellants, C.V. Mohan Reddy, submitted that there were variations between the preliminary and final reports submitted by the SIT. He said his clients were seeking the documents and evidence collected by the SIT and requested the court to direct the registry to provide them.
