Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh police on Tuesday arrested two prominent political commentators and YouTubers, KV Reddy and B Joseph, also known as Raavan, in Hyderabad.
The arrests were made over alleged derogatory and objectionable remarks directed at the state government, including Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and others. The AP police picked up Reddy from his residence in Vanasthalipuram.
The Pithapuram police detained Raavan on charges of making inappropriate comments against Pawan Kalyan. According to police, Jana Sena leader Bojja Kumar from Pithapuram filed a complaint alleging that Raavan had made inappropriate comments against Pawan Kalyan and others.
