Vijayawada:The Andhra Pradesh government on Friday ordered a major administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting 22 IAS and IFS officers across key departments, including Tourism, School Education, Transport, Health, Housing, TTD and urban development.
The orders, issued through G.O. Rt. No. 1539, also include several Full Additional Charge (FAC) arrangements and appointments for the forthcoming Godavari Pushkaralu.
Senior IAS officer Shamsher Singh Rawat has been transferred from the General Administration Department (Services & HRM) and posted as Special Chief Secretary, Tourism & Culture. He has also been given additional charge of Youth Services & Sports, Services & HRM, and GPM & AR.
J. Syamala Rao has been posted as Principal Secretary, School Education, with additional charge of Higher Education, Skill Development & Training, and Political Affairs.
Kona Sasidhar has been transferred to the Transport Department, while M. Siva Prasad, IFS, has been appointed Joint Managing Director of APSRTC.
Pattanshetti Ravi Subash has been posted as Managing Director of APTDC, with Amrapali Kata relieved from the post and directed to report to the General Administration Department.
For the Godavari Pushkaralu, S. Suresh Kumar has been appointed Special Officer, while Narayana Bharath Gupta will serve as Joint Special Officer.
Mutyalaraju Revu has been posted as Commissioner of Archaeology and Museums, while K.V.N. Chakradhara Babu has been given additional charge as Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare and Managing Director, National Health Mission.
Hephsiba Rani Korlapati has been appointed Special Secretary, Housing, while P. Arun Babu has been posted as Director General, Drug Control Administration.
In urban administration, Prakhar Jain has been appointed Commissioner of the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA), while Geetanjali Sharma has been given additional charge as CEO, RTGS. M. Jayakrishna has been posted as Municipal Commissioner, Tirupati.
The government has also appointed Dr A. Sharath as TTD Joint Executive Officer, while Prabhala Gopinadh has been posted as Joint Executive Officer (Health & Education). A.A.L. Padmavathi has been appointed CEO, NTR Vaidya Seva Trust, and B. Sunil Kumar Reddy has been given additional charge as Managing Director, AP Swachh Andhra Corporation.
