APCRDA Holds Career Guidance Seminar for Amaravati Students

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) on Tuesday organised a career guidance seminar for students from Amaravati region villages to create awareness on higher education and employment opportunities after Class X.

The programme, conducted by the CRDA Social Development wing at HSR Kalyana Vedika in Tulluru, was attended by around 100 students, parents and farmers from capital villages.

APCRDA Group Director (Social Development) Col. V. Ramulu said students could secure better opportunities through proper planning and informed career choices. He said APCRDA was focusing on both development of Amaravati and the social and educational advancement of residents in surrounding villages.

He said APCRDA has been conducting monthly job melas and skill development programmes in Amaravati under the guidance of Municipal Administration Minister Dr Ponguru Narayana and APCRDA Commissioner V. Vijayaramaraju to improve employment prospects for youth. He added that such programmes would be organised on a larger scale.

AP Residential Educational Institutions Society secretary and Andhra Pradesh State Director of Public Libraries A. Krishnamohan attended as keynote speaker and explained educational avenues after Class X, professional courses, government welfare schemes, competitive examinations and employment opportunities. He also interacted with students and clarified their queries.
