Ariana Grande is returning to the stage after a long gap. The gorgeous singer-actress performed her concert after 7 years on June 6, 2026, at Oakland Arena in Oakland, Calif. Ariana is set to perform through September 2026, and recently, she has two more shows in Oakland on June 9 and June 10, following which, she will head to Los Angles, Inglewood, Austin, Sunrise, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, Montreal, Chicago and London, for her upcoming shows.

The show is being directed by Ariana’s frequent collaborator, Christian Breslauer. Ariana’s last tour was in December 2019, following which she took a hiatus. So, it’s understandable that Arianators are extremely excited about this highly anticipated tour of the songstress. Recently, the setlist has been released by Variety, so let’s have a look at that, along with Ariana’s comment on this tour being her ‘one last hurrah!’.

Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour: A look at the setlist

As Ariana Grande has released two albums since the time she was away from tours and concerts, it’s understandable that the Eternal Sunshine Tour will be something different with the addition of several hits of the singer, which she has kept providing us with. Ariana’s next album, Petal, will be released in July 2026, and only a single named, Hate That I Made You Love Me was dropped, which is on the setlist. So whether or not the tour will include more of her songs from her forthcoming album will be something for the time to answer.

It’s been a long time since Ariana has returned to the stage, so the opening night needed to be a combination of nostalgia and variety. While Eternal Sunshine is the name of Ariana Grande’s album, which made people feel that the tour would feature the songs from that album only, it was not the case; rather, the singer took each of her albums and made it a mixed 23-song show instead. So, Ariana Grande’s setlist was Yes, And?, Positions, Dandelion, The Boy Is Mine, Eternal Sunshine, Just Like Magic, Thank U, Next, 7 Rings, Imperfect for You, Warm, Safety Net, One Last Time, Rain on Me, Break Free, Twilight Zone, Past Life, Dangerous Woman, Honeymoon Avenue, Hampstead, Into You, Hate That I Made You Love Me, We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love), and Supernatural.

Why was Ariana Grande away from tours and concerts? She called Eternal Sunshine her ‘one last hurrah’

Ariana Grande has been away from touring and concerting for a long time, and the main reason was that she shifted to acting in recent years, working on her dream project, Wicked, which she described as her creative home during that time. Apart from that, she openly discussed the toll she faced during the tragic bombing at her 2017 concert, along with losing close friends, in the following period of time, which required her to take time for herself to heal and fix her relationship with performance again. She also openly discussed anxiety that she faced, and the pressure that she had to endure for being in the public eye and all of these led her to take a long break from her touring career.

Ariana Grande, back in 2025, appeared on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast and said that the next few years would look totally different from now, and she doesn’t want to be definitive; however, she’s excited for this tour, where she would give her all, while adding that this will be her last hurrah. She didn’t clarify anything about the last portion of the comment; however, it made people wonder if it’s actually her last. Her exact words were:

“I do know that I’m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long, long time. I’m going to give it my all, and it’s going to be beautiful. I think that’s why I’m doing it, because I’m like, ‘One last hurrah!’”
