Ariana Grande’s Old Post On Addressing Rumours Of Abandoning Music Surfaces Amid Comeback, ‘Silly’

Ariana Grande after taking a reported break for six years, has come back to touring. She has kicked off her Eternal Sunshine music concert with her performance first at California’s Oakland Arena. She reportedly sang 23 songs in the act. Well, Ariana is back to her love, music, from June 6, 2026 and amid this, an old statement of not abandoning music has surfaced on the social media.

Ariana Grande’s statement on dismissing speculations of stepping away from music surfaces on the social media

Rumours were doing the rounds for the longest time that Ariana Grande has stepped away from music as she took up acting projects outside the music domain. The singer had to squash all the rumours when she posted a MET Gala 2024 clip on her Instagram, where she had performed. Ariana had to pen that it was very silly of her fans to assume that just as she had her hands full with a lot of things, she would abandon singing and music. She revealed of finding a balance, between many projects and endeavours, she loves doing it her way. The singer had shared her future plans of singing even if it was for a very short time. Ariana had written:

“Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing & music. It is and has always been my lifeline. There will need to be room made for all of it. It may not look exactly like it did before, but I much prefer how it looks in my head.”

Ariana Grande had sternly written on the social media that she was pursuing varied creative things in her life. She had emphasised of coming back to music soon. One of her fans had written, “This is the unlimited era, and I am so here for it! Keep doing you, queen. We love to see it! You are a literal queen! Thank you for sharing so much of yourself. I love seeing you get to do and pursue all the things your heart desires. That’s the best part of life! You do you, boo.”

Another one called Ariana a genius and said, “You are a vision, a genius and a woman who can do what she wants!! I love seeing you win & make all your dreams come true. I love every facet of your personality, your career, your talent, your face, and most of all your heart. So beautiful to see you share every part of your talents and creativity. You can do it all.” Ariana had also shared feelings of being grateful, excited and also inspired.

Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine tour will see her perform in places such as Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, and many more. Ariana reportedly has five shows in London’s O2 Arena. The singer, apart from this, has an array of projects such as the London revival of Sunday in the Park with George. Reportedly, the Wicked actress had last released Eternal Sunshine as her latest album. A fan earlier waiting for Ariana’s comeback had shared:

“You give us so much all the time! banger after banger, amazing album after amazing album – people clearly got spoilt, you do it all and you do it beautifully! Keep doing what sparks joy for you & we’ll keep enjoying! Not only are you having fun. You are living. How about Miss Thing gives us her talents and gifts at her own pace.”
