The Houston Rockets have a new sideline reporter.
Ashley Stroehlein will fill the role formerly held by Vanessa Richardon, Space City Home Network, the television station that broadcasts Rockets and Astros games, announced Friday.

Stroehlein will officially start in the role on Monday, when the Rockets host the Denver Nuggets, but she will make an introductory appearance on the pregame show for Saturday’s matchup with the Phoenix Suns, according to a Rockets spokesperson
Stroehlein was previously a sideline reporter and pregame host for Charlotte Hornets games and filled the former role for select Minnesota Timberwolves games. She also freelanced as a sideline reporter for ESPN’s college football coverage and as a host on Sirius XM NBA and NASCAR channels, according to her LinkedIn.
She is a three-time recipient of the Gracie Awards, presented by the Alliance for Women in Media to celebrate and honor programming by, for and about women, according to the release.
