Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) Managing Director K. Ashok Reddy inspected Kokapet Green Water Filling Station here on Thursday.
He examined purified water quality standards and test results at the filling station and instructed officials to register water quality test results online periodically. He suggested setting up filling marks to accurately identify the quantity of water filled in tankers.
He ordered to mandatorily record the quantity of water filled in each tanker and filling details. Reddy asked for continuous monitoring of the quality of purified water and supply quantity and advised to promote the use of purified water for construction sector, road cleanliness, dust control, and gardens.
He asked officials to accord priority to use purified water to reduce pressure on drinking water resources.
