Athulya Senior Care has opened its third integrated geriatric care centre in Bengaluru, expanding its assisted living and healthcare services for older adults in the city.
Located in Mathikere, the new centre will provide assisted living, transition care, rehabilitation, memory care, palliative care and emergency medical support. According to the company, the facility has approximately 100 beds and takes its total senior-care capacity across Bengaluru to more than 300 beds.
The centre includes residential spaces, therapy and rehabilitation areas, physiotherapy services, memory-care infrastructure, diet management and recreational facilities. Athulya said virtual reality-based rehabilitation would also be available at the facility.
U.T. Khader, Karnataka’s Minister for Health and Family Welfare, inaugurated the centre, according to the company statement.
Srinivasan G., Founder and CEO of Athulya Senior Care, said Karnataka was an important market in the company’s expansion strategy. He attributed growing demand for specialised senior care to increasing life expectancy, changing family structures and greater awareness of assisted living.
The company operates senior-care facilities across Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi, Hyderabad and Coimbatore. Its services include assisted living, rehabilitation, memory care, transition care, palliative care and home healthcare.
