Preview for Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints

It’s down to the Superdome as the New Orleans Saints (1-2) and Atlanta Falcons (1-2) meet for a Week 4 matchup on Monday Night Football.

The Falcons were beaten by the Steelers and Panthers in a poor start to the season but arreted the slide last week by beating the Packers at Lambeau Field.

The Saints, meanwhile, edged to a win at the Ravens inbetween defeats at the hands of the Lions and the Raiders.

Both sides are in need of some consistency and rhythm to start to make moves in the NFC South.

“We’ve only played three games. It’s nothing to panic over,” Saints tight end Juwan Johnson said.

“We’re playing really aggressive, really strong, really physical, really smart and really fast. There’s just a few things we can clean up and we’ll be fine.”

The Saints are without former Falcons linebacker Kaden Elliss, while edge rusher Carl Granderson and linebacker Anfernee Jennings are also missing.

The game marks the 20th anniversary of the “Domecoming,” an iconic game played between the same two teams in 2006, that helped begin to revitalize the city of New Orleans after hurricane Katrina.
