Producer and actor Bandla Ganesh recently opened up about a disturbing incident from his early days in the Telugu film industry. During an interview with actor Raja Ravindra, he revealed that a well-known Tollywood personality once unexpectedly hit him with a slipper.
Bandla Ganesh, known for his journey from small comedy roles to becoming a successful producer, has worked on major films with stars like Pawan Kalyan and NTR Jr. Movies such as Gabbar Singh, Teen Maar, Baadshah, and Temper played a key role in establishing his name in the industry.
Speaking during the interview, Ganesh said the incident happened around the time actress Soundarya passed away. During that phase, he was not very busy as an actor and used to regularly visit film personalities to interact and spend time with them.
Recalling the incident, Bandla said he had gone to meet a prominent personality from the industry and sat in front of him. Suddenly, without any apparent reason, the person removed his slipper and struck him, leaving him shocked and deeply hurt.
However, Ganesh clarified that he never viewed the individual as a bad person. He felt the person may have been under emotional stress and tension following Soundarya’s death. He also revealed that the same person called him the following day and apologized for the behavior.
Bandla Ganesh said he never carried any resentment over the incident and instead looked at it as a life lesson. He added that the experience eventually made him mentally stronger and became a turning point in his journey.
