Adilabad: The Sri Gnana Saraswati temple at Basar will organise the three-day Vyasa Pournami utsavalu from July 27 to 29.
Temple authorities have made special arrangements for the annual festival, which is considered significant from both Vedic and spiritual perspectives and is expected to attract a large number of devotees.
The temple premises house a shrine dedicated to Vyasa Maharshi, with his idol installed inside a cave. Devotees visit the shrine during the festival to offer prayers and participate in the special rituals.
Temple executive officer Anjani Devi, sthanacharyulu Praveen Pathak and upa pradhanacharyulu Sripad Deekshit are supervising the arrangements and the conduct of the special rituals during the three-day celebrations.
