Marc had a long career of more than five decades in the entertainment industry. Over the years, he became a familiar face to fans of fantasy, sci-fi, and TV dramas. However, he has kept his personal life away from the spotlight.

Alongside him, his mother, Leslie Wright, was a concert pianist. So, music and the arts were an important part of his childhood before he made his own path in the world of acting.

He is one of four siblings, and his sister, Lori Singer, is a famous actress and cellist. She is best known for her role in the 1984 film Footloose. Marc’s brothers are named Claude and Gregory. He is also a cousin of filmmaker Bryan Singer. The latter is known for directing movies including The Usual Suspects and entries in the X-Men franchise.

Outside of acting, Marc has several interests such as music and physical activities. He is a trained martial artist and holds a black belt in Kung Fu from the Seattle Kung Fu Club. The actor also enjoys running, sailing, boxing, skiing, and motorcycling.
