The Rangers’ AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack, is coming off one of the worst seasons in its franchise history.
In March, The Post reported on the likelihood head coach Grant Potulny and his staff would be shown the door come the season’s end. And just over two weeks after finishing the 2025-26 campaign in dead last in the AHL, Potulny and assistants Jamie Tardif and Paul Mara were relieved of their coaching duties.
As of now, goalie coach Brendan Burke and skills coach Colin Downey remain with the club, per a source.
The search for a new head coach began immediately, but there is also a hint of uncertainty surrounding Hartford general manager Ryan Martin.
