Hyderabad: Under the Bharat Gaurav initiative of Indian Railways, IRCTC is set to launch the Bharat–Bhutan Mystic Mountain Tour from May 5, offering travel enthusiasts a hassle‑free journey across India and Bhutan. The 13‑night, 14‑day tour will begin from Delhi Safdarjung railway station, with boarding points at Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Tundla, Kanpur, Lucknow and Varanasi.
The fare has been fixed at ₹1,41,540 for AC first class (Cabin/Coupe), ₹1,33,210 for AC second tier and ₹1,16,545 for AC three tier.
The itinerary includes visits in India to Guwahati’s Kamakhya Devi Temple and a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra river. In Meghalaya, travellers will explore Shillong’s Umiam Lake viewpoint, Cherrapunji’s Seven Sisters Waterfalls, Nohkalikai Falls and Mawsmai Caves.
In Bhutan, the tour covers Thimphu’s Motithang Takin Preserve, National Library and Tashichho Dzong, along with Punakha Dzong and the Suspension Bridge. Activities include trekking, visits to the National Museum and traditional archery experiences.
