The Big Brother housemates are in for yet another surprise
A huge reality show star is entering the Big Brother house.
The ITV2 competition has been introducing a new twist every week since it returned to screens four weeks ago. Viewers have so far watched the housemates survive the House of Nothing, which saw Big Brother stripping them of everyday luxuries.
There was also Double Trouble week, which invited pop duo Jedward to spark chaos in the house. It is currently the Week of Revelations, centred on exposing housemates’ real feelings about each other.
Hosts Aj Odudu and Will Best have now confirmed that the next twist will revolve around another celebrity guest, namely The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins. She will enter the house tonight (October 9).
Long-term fans will know that Gemma had an unforgettable stint on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2016, landing in seventh place. The 45-year-old became known for her hilarious quotes, including “I’m claustrophobic, Darren,” which was shouted during a tense back-and-forth.
Her return to the show has been met with pure excitement from viewers, who have gathered on social media to celebrate the news. “#BBUK THE ONE AND ONLY GEMMA COLLINS IS GOING IN,” exclaimed one fan.
Someone else raved: “I AM SO EXCITED! GONE FROM JEDWARD’s MY FAVOURITES TO ANOTHER FAVOURITE GEMMA COLLINS. Let’s gooooo!!!!” Yet another fan said: “YASSSSS can’t wait to see the Queen Gemma go in the BB house she’s a incredible inspiration.”
While a fourth viewer chimed in: “GEMMA COLLINS IS GOING IN WHAAAT!!!!NOW THIS IS GOING TO BE ICONIC TVVV!!! #bbuk #bigbrother,” and a final viewer said: “GEMMA COLLINS I CANT COPE #bbuk #bigbrother.”

It comes just weeks after Gemma launched a Sky docu-series called Everything All At Once. A synopsis for the eight-part show teases: “With extraordinary access to Gemma behind closed doors, this series reveals a side of her rarely seen before.
“She allows the cameras into the moments when the bravado drops; when she is vulnerable, exhausted, hopeful and trying to make sense of everything happening around her. And amongst the challenge of trying to keep everything together, Gemma meets life head-on, with the honesty and humour that have made her such a uniquely recognisable figure.”
It continued: “Across eight episodes, Gemma Collins: Everything. All At Once. is a raw, relatable and deeply human portrait of a woman navigating love, family, fertility, grief and the pressures of life in the public eye as she tries to keep moving forward while everything around her is changing. Sometimes, everything really does happen all at once.”
