Vijayawada:AP BJP president P. V. N. Madhav on Thursday said the party’s ‘Janata Varadhi’ programme was receiving a strong response from people seeking resolution of public grievances.
He said the programme was launched on January 5, 2025, at all district collectorates across the State. Under the initiative, party leaders receive representations from the public every Friday between 10 am and 12 noon and take them up with concerned officials on Mondays for resolution.
Madhav said the party had so far received 3,248 representations related to land disputes, pensions, ration cards, healthcare, education, employment, drinking water, roads and revenue issues.
He said issues related to 2,180 representations had already been resolved.
The BJP leader appealed to people to make use of the programme to resolve their grievances.
