BLACKPINKâs Lisas unexpected appearance with Anyma at Coachella leaves fans stunned

During the second weekend of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, BLACKPINK’s Lisa made an unexpected appearance during Anyma’s set on the main Coachella Stage. This sudden appearance left the audience thrilled with excitement. Joining Anyma on stage Lisa doubled the excitement among the fans with her spectacular performance.

Absolutely Insane is the term fans are using to describe the moment Lisa arrived, claiming how well the visuals worked with the music. One fan said, “This is absolutely insane,” while another wrote, “Iconic moment in dance music history.” 

Her entire costume, in shimmering silver, was designed by Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen. She also wore a long, pale wig, which complemented her striking look and hence recreated the ethereal look from their music video, “Bad Angel”, immediately drawing the attention of the audience. 

Meanwhile, according to sources, it can be said that BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s appearance at Coachella had been rumoured for quite some days now. As Lalisa Manobal had already been spotted around the festival during the first weekend, and her arrival in Los Angeles earlier this month only added further to the speculation. Moreover, when Bad Angel dropped just before the festival kicked off, almost everyone could speculate that something was about to happen.

Released on April 8, 2026, Bad Angel the collaborative single by Lisa and Anyma, became an immediate global success, breaking multiple records within the first week of its release. As of today, the official music video on YouTube has over 10 million views and more than 684,000 likes. On Spotify, the track has passed 10.4 million streams.

According to sources, it earned 667,401 streams in just its first 8 hours, making it the biggest partial-day debut for a K-pop female soloist. Critics from Rolling Stone India praised the track as a “moody mix of style and sound”, and following Lisa’s performance, Lisa is currently trending number 1 worldwide as the most talked-about act at 2026 Coachella.
