The body of a woman has been found inside a suitcase in Goulburn, regional NSW.
Police were called to Wolgon Road, near Oallen Ford Road, about 61 kilometres south of Goulburn about 12.50pm Sunday after reports of a body.
Officers arrived and found a body in a suitcase.
The body is yet to be formally identified but if believed to be that of a woman. It is unclear how long the body had been there.
Goulburn is 194 km south-west of Sydney via the Hume Freeway with a population of 25,000 people.
Officers have established a crime scene, and have seized the suitcase for further forensic examination.
Investigations are ongoing.
