A teenage boy has been charged with wounding following an alleged stabbing outside a northside Brisbane McDonald’s on Thursday night.
Police arrested the 17-year-old at the Albany Creek McDonald’s shortly after they arrived about 8.15pm.
There, they were also confronted with a 16-year-old Petrie boy with life-threatening injuries as a result of the alleged assault.
That boy remained in a stable condition at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital on Sunday, with wounds to his abdomen.
A police spokesperson said the pair were known to each other.
Along with the wounding charge, the 17-year-old was also charged with the unlawful possession of a category M weapon – in this case, a knife.
He was remanded in custody and was due to appear in the Brisbane Children’s Court on Monday.
