The New York Giants have a late injury concern with edge rusher Brian Burns in the second half of the Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Burns went down with an injury late in the fourth quarter and needed help getting off the field. It appeared to be a left ankle injury.

UPDATE:SNY’s Connor Hughes reports that trainers are wrapping Burns’ ankle and he is in “serious, serious pain.”
With the game about to end, it looks like we’ll have to wait until after the game for an update.

As we mentioned, Burns needed help getting off the field, as he couldn’t put any weight on his leg. The Giants edge rusher is now being tended to by trainers on the sideline.

It has been a brutal injury night for the Giants, who have seen quarterback Jaxson Dart, wide receiver Malik Nabers and left tackle Andrew Thomas all get banged-up during the game.
Nabers was able to return, but Dart was ruled out. The good news is, Dart did return to the sideline and appears to have avoided a catastrophic injury.
