The Denver Broncos made four roster moves on Saturday, including placing defensive lineman Matt Henningsen on season-ending injured reserve. Players who land on IR before the initial 53-man roster is set are not eligible to return from IR during the current season.
Henningsen ruptured his Achilles during Friday’s practice exactly one year after he tore the Achilles on his other foot during a joint training camp practice with the San Francisco 49ers in 2025. The 27-year-old defensive lineman will now face another year of rehab with the hopes of getting back on the field in 2027.
