Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly been left ‘fuming’ after his parents, Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham, included them in their social media posts honouring Father’s Day

Brooklyn Beckham is said to be “fuming” with his parents. On Sunday, both Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham included their eldest son in their gushing Father’s Day social media posts.

Former footballer David, 51, shared a string of snaps on his Instagram page, including an image of himself with Brooklyn as a child, and another with all four of his children.

Captioning his post, David wrote: “Being a dad is my most important job – I love you all and thank you mummy @victoriabeckham for giving me our beautiful family. Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads around the world.”

Meanwhile, former singer Victoria also included Brooklyn in her tribute to David. Sharing snaps, she said: “David you truly are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day.”

However, while both parents extended an olive branch, it’s claimed that their eldest child, 27, has been left far from impressed. Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “He’s fuming about it. He’s asked them to leave him alone, and they just keep posting him. It just brings the whole thing up all over again. He wishes they’d leave it and leave him alone.”

Last year, Brooklyn blocked his parents on social media, and it later emerged that he had instructed his parents to contact him only through his legal representatives. Earlier this year, he also lashed out at his family on social media and told his followers he had no plans of rekindling his relationship with them following years of estrangement and feuds.

In a furious social media statement, he said: “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.

“For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.

“Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”

While neither David nor Victoria has directly addressed Brooklyn’s statement, they have both spoken of the importance of family. The social media posts for Father’s Day came just days after Brooklyn took various digs at his family feud and how he would be watching the World Cup from home, despite being moments away from where it was being held.

In the ad, Brooklyn was seen sitting on his couch before saying: “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home.” He then laughed and threw his World Cup tickets onto a coffee table and said: “It’s a long story.”

The words: “It’s complicated, more soon,” appeared on screen alongside the unused tickets and some rather poignant digs at his famous family, including an expensive watch, unused tickets, a camera and burnt pizza.

It has been reported by PageSix that Brooklyn was paid a whopping $1 million to film his DoorDash advert, which criticised his dad time and time again. A source told the publication: “It’s a little cheesy. [But] anything that makes him money is good – it shows that his brand is there and flourishing.”

Brooklyn’s family are said to be devastated by the advert. A source said: “To do an ad based on estrangement from family as if it’s a joke when his family is devastated, and sister and grandparents are inconsolable … It just seems a tad hypocritical from someone claiming to want peace and privacy and trying to cash in on it all.

“He says he wants nothing to do with his family, but is now trading off them by using one of his footballing father’s legacies – the World Cup – as an advertising selling point. Brooklyn is absolutely entitled to go and make his own money – his parents laud such ambition – but taking the mick out of a deep-rooted, heartbreaking family situation is not the one.”

The Mirror has approached Brooklyn’s spokesperson for comment.
