Brooklyn Beckham ignored his dad, David, on Father’s Day, but gushed over his father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, who is celebrating his 84th birthday this week

Brooklyn Beckham has praised his father-in-law gushing: “I love you so much” – just days after snubbing his dad, David.

The former England star, 51, shared a photo of his firstborn on Father’s Day in a sweet post on Instagram, but Brooklyn, 27, ignored him following the family’s sad feud.

Now, Brooklyn has heaped praise on his father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, who is celebrating his 84th birthday this week, sharing a snap of himself and the billionaire, with garlands of flowers around their necks.

He wrote: “Happy Birthday Nelson x I love you so much. I’m so happy I could celebrate you today. Thank you for being the best father-in-law.” Brooklyn also appears in his wife’s photos with Nelson as the Peltz family pulled out all the stops to celebrate the mega mogul’s big day.

Nicola, who reportedly receives a $1million a month allowance from her father, captioned her post: “Happy birthday Dad! I love celebrating you! I feel truly blessed to have grown up watching you be such an incredible role model in every way possible.’

“You’re the best father i could ever dream of. you love us all unconditionally, encourage us that our dreams are never too big to chase and to always always be a good human before all else.”

The Beckhams were said to be heartbroken when Brooklyn publicly humiliated them with his recent Door Dash campaign, which many have interpreted as another dig at his estranged family.

Looking into the camera, the husband of billionaire heiress, Nicola Peltz, said: “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home…It’s a long story.” The teaser concluded with the message: “It’s complicated. More soon.”

It comes after Brooklyn’s team issued a statement after his sister, Harper, was seen arriving at his home. The Beckham family had gathered in Los Angeles for David, who was honoured with a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Harper attempted to visit her older brother while they were in the city. However, hopes of a reconciliation were quickly dashed as Brooklyn and Nicola were nowhere to be found, leaving the 14-year-old with no choice but to turn away.

It’s thought that Harper may have left a letter. However, Brooklyn was in New York City – the opposite side of the United States, while his family were enjoying their trip to Hollywood to honour Sir David. A post on Instagram which showed him running in the Big Apple made that clear.

Following the pictures of Harper looking despondent as she waited outside the Beckham-Peltz mansion, Brooklyn’s team spoke out.

Talking to Page Six, a spokesperson for the hot sauce enthusiast said: “That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all — this was choreographed for the cameras.”
